Better Late Than Never: 11 Products from 2024 That I Still Obsess Over
I know, I knowβwe’re well into the new year and 2026 is basically next door. But let’s be honest, great products are great no matter when you discover it. Last year, I shared a quick, picture post on social media with some of my favorite finds, but it didn’t feel like enough. The best discoveries deserve a proper review, especially when they’re still in my regular rotation.
These are the unsung heroes of my “perfectly imperfect” lifeβthe products that truly made a difference in my wellness, beauty routine, or just made my days a little easier. This isn’t just a list of things I liked; these companies delivered on their promises and have earned a permanent spot on my shelf.
1. The Natural-Looking Glow-Up
- Naturium Vitamin C Complex Face Moisturizer: This moisturizer has a light, whipped texture that feels amazing on the skin. It absorbs quickly and gives me a subtle, all-day glow. For anyone wanting to brighten their skin without a heavy feel, this is a winner. And, it includes spf 50 and does not leave a white cast!
- The Lip Bar’s Prototype Lip Oil: I’m all about a low-maintenance look, and this lip oil is perfect. It gives me a hint of color and a beautiful shine without being sticky. It feels nourishing and looks effortlessly put-together.
- EstΓ©e Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation: This foundation is a classic for a reason. It gives you a flawless finish that lasts all day, no matter what. Since the day I first purchased it, weβve been stuck together like glue. While it is on the pricier side, the bargain shopper that I am, never pays full price.
2. The Head-to-Toe Hydration
- Naturium Glow Getter Multi-Oil Body Wash: This body wash has completely changed my shower routine. It lathers up beautifully and leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and moisturized, not stripped and dry. After my initial white soap cleaning (IYKYK), I use two pumps of this alongside my scented bodywash of the day.
- Onyx Professional Scrub in Rose Petals: I am pretty obsessed with anything that has a rose scent and trust me, they are not all created equal. This is a surprise budget find that smells absolutely AMAZING. Layered with other rose scented productsβ¦chefβs kiss!
- EOS Holiday Lotions (Sparkling Amber & Whipped Shea): I learned my lesson last year and will not get caught slipping this holiday season. When the next round of holiday lotions are released- buy them. They are simply divine – thick, creamy, and perfectly scented.
- Supergoop! Hand Screen SPF 40: Hand care is something I often forget, but this product makes it so easy. Itβs a fast-absorbing hand cream that also protects from the sun. Itβs a simple addition that makes a huge difference in preventing sun damage. I keep it in the car and bring with me to nail appointments when Iβm getting gel polish.
3. The Hair & Body Heroes
- Mielle Rosemary Mint Scalp & Hair Strengthening Oil (Light Version): My scalp has been so much healthier since I started using this. I use the light version, which nourishes my scalp and helps my hair feel stronger without weighing it down.
- She Is Bomb Collection Edge Control: Not all edge controlβs are created equal. This one came from my favorite atlanta hairstylist and I canβt tell you how many Iβve purchased over the years. It has a moderately firm, all-day hold without feeling greasy or flaking. When Iβm in Atlanta, I always stop by the beauty store (the big one at Camp Creek) for the travel size.
- Dr. Bronner’s Lavender Pure-Castile Liquid Soap: This soap is a true multi-tasker. I use it as a nighttime body wash, but you can use it for so many other things. Itβs gentle on my skin, and the lavender scent is incredibly soothing and calming.
4. The Daily Essential
- Brumate Era 40 oz Tumbler: This product has singlehandedly increased my water intake by 200%. There will be several posts about Brumate cups on the blog, but for now, just trust me and grab one. [Life hack]- for the past year and a half iβve gifted this tumbler or another brumate cup for almost everyone]
Looking back at this list, I realize it’s less about the “things” and more about the small, intentional moments of self-care they created. These products are simply tools to help us navigate our busy, complex, and beautiful lives.
